These amazing potential dominant Sharp Sunglows (orange tail hypo of course) came out with a distinct twist to the normal appearing Sharp Sunglows produced here(my definition of normal is still way above the normal in the industry). These little lavender coated Sunglows were produced from a Sharp Sunglow bred to a double het for Sunglow born on 4/29/2010, the same day as my Sun Dreams, quite a colorful day indeed. these animals are void of white coloration and it has been replaced with lavender and at this point, it is not looking like it is going anywhere. Only time will tell if these can keep their name and if they can, then I will of course look forward to putting this into everything I am working with and maybe one day we can get to a pure lavender animal. This lavender coloration was a big theme this year in that it was prominent in some of the Sharp Snows, it is definitely prominent in the Sun Dreams and it now showing up in these potential dominant Sharp Sunglows is just a huge bonus. I believe that this lavender coloration is becoming so prominent for the fact that I got my Sharp animals directly from Brian Sharp back in 1997 and I never dabbled in any mutt making thus my animals are pure and maybe this is what happens when you work with true purity. Only a theory but it is mine and the color for now flows from the Basement.
